This Law regulates the preparation, organization and implementation of the official Census of Agriculture in the Republic of Croatia planned for the year 2020, including other issues important for the implementation of such agricultural survey. This Law adopts, as regards the Croatian legal system, the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2018/1091 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 July 2018 on integrated farm statistics and repealing Regulations (EC) No 1166/2008 and (EU) No 1337/2011. This Law shall apply to all information on agricultural production methods, rural environment, agri-environmental aspects and other related activities and their information, at the level of agricultural holdings present and active on the Republic of Croatia. the agricultural census shall be carried out from 1 to 30 June 2020, in July 2020 for family farms (article 8). Scope of the Agricultural Census is defined in article 12; family farm related provisions are in article 15; participants and mode of engagement are laid down in article 21; rights and obligations of participants in article 22. Census Committee provisions are in articles 26, 27, 28 and 29; Article 32 sets out provisions regarding the financial aspects; articles 34 and 35 are setting offences and penalties.
