This Resolution approves the 4th National Plan for the Advancement of Women 2018-2024, aiming to reinforce the promotion of Gender Equality in all spheres of the country's development and ensuring participation and access to equal rights and opportunities between women and men; all citizens contribute to sustainable development and for poverty reduction. It aims to adopt a transversal approach of the gender dimension becoming an instrument of intersectoral coordination, to ensure the Empowerment of Women and Gender Equality, with actions to be implemented by the various actors of the State, civil society, religious institutions and the private sector in the following areas of intervention related to gender cross-cutting issues: Peace and Security, Health, Water and Sanitation, Education and Professional Training, Economic Empowerment of Women, Energy and Communication and Information Technologies, Women in Social Communication, Environment and Climate Change and Gender Institutional Mechanisms.
