This Act contains provisions for the Establishment of Commission for Electricity Regulation (Part II), to give power to that Commission to grant licences to generate and supply electricity (Part III) and to grant authorisations to construct generating stations, to provide for access to the transmission or distribution system by holders of licences (Part V), holders of authorisations or by eligible customers. Part IIA regulates petroleum activites, these include safty provisions, issuing and revocation of permit, improvement plan and notice, etc.
