This Act amends the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 (principal Act). Clauses (2), (5) and (6A) of section 2 of the principal Act are amended. In section 4, the word holding is replaced with the words a plot of land. Sub-section (1) of section 14Q is omitted and sub-section (2B) of section 19 is substituted. Section 23 relating to land revenue is amended.
