West Bengal Land Reforms (Amendment) Act, 2014 [West Bengal Act XVII of 2014].

This Act amends the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 (principal Act). This Act amends the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 (principal Act). Section 14Y of the principal Act is amended to expand the scope of exemption from holding land beyond the ceiling limit. Clauses (a) and (b) of the first proviso, the second proviso and the third proviso of section 14Y are amended.
