This Complementary Law provides for a specific action to support rural women in the State of Ceará, by financing agricultural and non-agricultural projects under the Loan Agreement signed between the Government of the State of Ceará and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, for the execution of the Sustainable Rural Development Project - São José III Project (2nd Phase). The objectives of the action are: promote the socio-economic autonomy of rural women; develop business and market skills in order to strengthen and expand marketing channels; training in management and technological innovation; promote the participation and autonomy of rural women; contributing to the implementation of good production and cultural practices, increasing climate resilience and strengthening healthier and more sustainable food systems; support rural women in initiatives that enable them to generate continuous income; encourage technical assistance for women based on the use of sustainable production techniques and improving administrative and financial management.
