This State Program contains the following Subprograms (including federal target programs): subprogram 1 "Reproduction of mineral resource base, geological subsoil exploration"; subprogram 2 "Use of water resources"; and subprogram 3 "Save and reproduction of hunting resources". Goals of the Program: (a) sustainable provision of the country's economy with mineral reserves and geological information about the subsoil; (b) sustainable water use while preserving aquatic ecosystems and ensuring the protection of the population and economic facilities from the negative impact of water; and (c) ensuring the conservation and reproduction of hunting resources. Objectives of the Program: (a) increasing the geological knowledge of the territory of the Russian Federation and its continental shelf, the Arctic and Antarctic, obtaining geological information; (b) ensuring the reproduction of the mineral resource base; (c) ensuring rational use of mineral resources; (d) ensuring socio-economic needs for water resources, protection and restoration of waterbodies; (e) ensuring the safety of water management systems and hydraulic structures; (f) ensuring the protection of the population and economic facilities from the negative effects of water; (g) ensuring and maintaining the species balance of hunting resources in ecosystems along with increasing resource potential; and (h) development of business activities in the field of hunting and ensuring increased availability of hunting resources for the population. Target indicators and indicators of the Program: (a) increase in the knowledge of promising areas of the territory of the Russian Federation and its continental shelf by medium-scale geological and geophysical research; (b) the level of compensation for the production of main types of minerals by the increase in reserves; (c) the share of licenses sold without the subsoil user violating the essential terms of the license in the total number of licenses for exploration and extraction of mineral resources; (d) increase in water yield from reservoirs and water management systems for complex purposes; (e) water intensity of gross domestic product; and (f) the ratio of the actual number of hunting resources to the calculated one (by species of ungulates - elk, roe deer, red deer, wild reindeer). Expected results: (a) modern geological and cartographic basis of the territory of the Russian Federation and its continental shelf, the Arctic and Antarctic to meet the needs of economic activity, forecast the development of the mineral resource base; (b) state subsoil fund, developed in the interests of present and future generations; (c) ensuring guaranteed water supply to the economy and creating reliable conditions for the development of industry, energy, water transport, fisheries, and agriculture through the effective use of the country’s water resource potential; (d) increasing the energy efficiency of the Russian economy by reducing the water intensity of production and reducing unproductive losses of water resources; (e) ensuring the safety and reliable operation of existing hydraulic structures; (f) increasing the protection of the population and economic facilities from floods and other negative impacts of water; (g) preservation and growth of the number of main types of hunting resources (primarily ungulates); (h) an increase in the ratio of the actual production of hunting resources to the established production limits for individual species as the main indicator of the state of affairs with the conservation and reproduction of hunting resources and their habitat; and (i) increasing the efficiency of federal state hunting supervision.
