This Law regulates the organization of the hail protection system, the person responsible for hail protection, his rights, obligations and responsibilities, the method of financing and supervision of the implementation of this Law, as well as other issues of importance for the hail protection system. The objective of this Law is to ensure a unified hail protection system in the Republika Srpska. The hail protection system includes a set of measures and activities for planning, financing, organizing and implementing methodological tasks related to radar detection and monitoring of storm-hail clouds, determining the degree of hail hazard and seeding hail clouds with chemical reagents with the aim of reducing hail damage to agricultural crops and other material goods.
