This Law regulates the method of prescribing technical requirements for products, the method of assessing the conformity of products with the requirements of technical regulations, the obligations of suppliers and owners of products, the presumption of conformity, the safeguard clause and the single market clause, the validity of foreign conformity documents, notification of technical regulations and conformity assessment procedures, general requirements for the appointment and obligations of designated bodies, notification of conformity assessment bodies and technical regulations, keeping a register and supervising the implementation of this law and regulations adopted on the basis of this Law. In terms of this Law, a product is any object, material or result of a process, obtained regardless of the degree of processing, and intended for delivery on the market, regardless of whether it is new or used. Chapter X sets related penalty provisions.
