Recommendation by ICCAT Amending Recommendation 19-07 Amending the Recommendation 16-12 on Management Measures for the Conservation of the North Atlantic Blue Shark Caught in Association with ICCAT Fisheries (21-10 SHK).

This recommendation amends Rec. 19-07 to set specific catch limits for the EU, Morocco, and Japan, while other each Contracting Party and Cooperating non‐Contracting Party, Entity, or Fishing Entity (CPCs) should maintain recent catch levels. If total North Atlantic blue shark catches exceed the Total Allowable Catch (TAC), the Commission will review implementation and may introduce additional measures based on the 2021 stock assessment or earlier Standing Committee on Research and Statistics (SCRS) data.
