Regulation on quality systems for food products.

This Regulation on quality systems for food products establishes quality systems for food products, which serve as the basis for the designation and, where appropriate, the protection of names and expressions, which specifically mention or describe food products with added-value product characteristics and/or added-value properties resulting from the processing methods used in their production, or the place of their production or promotion. This Regulation prescribes the procedure for the protection of designations of origin and the protection of geographical indications and the procedure for the protection of indications of traditional specialities guaranteed for food products on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the procedure for submitting applications for registration and filing objections for designations of origin, geographical indications and traditional specialities guaranteed for food products at the level of the European Union. This text further establishes measures intended to support production activities associated with high-quality products, thereby contributing to the achievement of the objectives of rural development policy. The Annex contains all classification lists and technical data, among designated administrative forms.
