This Policy represents the County's commitment to building a resilient economy for sustainable development, as articulated in the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) 2023-2027, in order to achieve food and nutrition security and a sustainable, resilient, and equitable food system, thanks to agroecology programmes that promote ecological practices, regenerate natural resources, protect biodiversity, strengthen ecosystems, and support livelihoods while delivering safe and nutritious diets.
