The WCPFC’s CMM 2025‑03 establishes an interim Management Procedure for WCPO skipjack tuna to maintain average spawning‑potential depletion at the agreed target reference point and keep it above the limit reference point with no more than a 20% risk of breach, while ensuring stability in fishing levels. It defines target and limit reference points, specifies the fisheries covered, and sets out MP components including a Harvest Control Rule, estimation model settings, monitoring and data requirements, and procedures for exceptional and special circumstances. Implementation assigns roles to the Scientific Committee, Scientific Services Provider and Commission.
