The Wildlife Policy aims to conserve wildlife resources for the benefit of present and future generations, in a transparent and equitable manner. The objectives of the Policy include, conservation of wildlife resources, maintaining ecological processes and life-sustaining systems, managing all components of genetic diversity, and sustainable use and equitable sharing of benefits. The policies on Protected Area Management, Institutional Support, and Inter-sectoral Linkages are provided.
