This Strategy provides for application of digital technology in support of health care. The vision of this Strategy aims at achieving by 2023 an effective and efficient Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-enabled system supporting delivery of quality, accessible, affordable, equitable, and timely healthcare services and moving Sierra Leone closer to achieving universal health coverage. The Strategy concerns the following aspects: identification of digital health funding; strengthening capability to govern, manage and technically support digital health programmes; developing standards, guides, and architecture design to support coordinated scale of digital health solutions; enhancing coordination in digital health infrastructure and solutions deployment.
