Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/1936 laying down certification rules and a model health certificate for entry into the Union of consignments of live animals and products of animal origin determined as equivalent to Union standards from New Zealand and repealing Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/1901.

This Decision establishes the certification requirements for the entry into the Union of consignments of live animals and animal products from New Zealand and provides the health certificate models to be used where equivalence has been recognised under the EU-New Zealand Agreement on sanitary measures applicable to trade in live animals and animal products. Where such equivalence exists, consignments must be accompanied by the prescribed health certificate and any required additional attestations; where equivalence has not been established, the relevant certification requirements under Union legislation apply. In the absence of harmonised Union rules for certain animals or products, Member States may continue to apply their national health requirements.
