This Regional Legislative Decree abrogates the Regional Direction of Harbours (DRP) (created by Regional Legislative Decree No. 27/86/M of 17 December) and creates the Harbour Administration for the Autonomous Region of Madeira (APRAM). The name of DPR has changed into APRAM. Provisions made with respect to DRP apply to the new public entity as well. This Decree approves the Statute (divided into 7 chapters) of the aforementioned entity and deals with its competencies and duties, such as: economic exploitation of the Autonomous Region of Madeira's harbours; guaranteeing the harbours' efficiency and the necessary improvements to satisfy commercial, fishing and recreational maritime activities, etc. The attached annex provides the maps of all the harbours of Madeira under APRAM jurisdiction.
