The Decree regulates the manufacturing of veterinary medicinal products and the control of products manufactured in member countries to be performed by the Ministry of Health. It extends the applicability of the provisions of Legislative Decree No. 119 of 27 January 1992 to veterinary drugs, provided they are consistant with those of the present Decree. For the purpose of controlling and eradicating a disease on the whole national territory or part thereof, article 5 establishes the cases in which the Ministry of Health may prohibit the manufacturing, import, possession, placing on the market, distribution and use of immunological veterinary medicinal products.
