This Order regulates the registration for professional fishermen and fishing vessel owner. It consists of 11 articles and 1 annex establishing the requirements to be satisfied in order to be registered into the Ibama Register for performing fishing activity. It also defines 'professional fisherman' and 'vessel owner'. The annex lays down a model form listing all information to be given to the competent authority in order to be inscribed into the aforementioned Register. It also establishes sanctions to be paid by offenders in compliance with Decree-Law No. 221 of 28 February 1967.
