This Order regulates professional fishing activity into the Araguaia River between the States of Tocantins and Pará. It consists of 3 articles establishing minimum net mesh and prohibited fishing methods to be used in the aforementioned area. Controls shall be under the competence of Ibama. It prescribes sanctions to be paid by offenders in compliance with Decree-Law No. 221 of 28 February 1967 and Act No. 7.679 of 23 November 1988.
