This Order prohibits 'Arapaima gigas' exploitation not exceeding the size of 1 mt. It consists of 3 articles prohibiting the marketing of the aforementioned fish specie not exceeding 1 mt. It prescribes controls to be carried out by Ibama and sanctions to be paid by offenders in compliance with Act No. 7.679 of 23 November 1988.
