Act No. 8.918 regulating classification, production and control of beverages and creating the Intersectoral Committee of Beverages.

This Act regulates classification, production and control of beverages and creates the Intersectoral Beverage Committee. It consists of 15 articles establishing the requirements to be satisfied within national territory for producing, marketing, labelling, packaging, or performing every activity relevant with beverages. It also makes provisions for sanitary inspection of beverage infrastructures, control of beverages' additive standards, beverage imports and export, etc.
