This Decree-Law regulates safe manning conditions to be satisfied by vessels registered into the Macau Ship's Register (MSR). It consists of 19 articles specifying the requirements (including crew and equipment safety conditions) to be satisfied by vessels in order to perform navigation within the waters under the jurisdiction of Macau. This Decree-Law does not apply for recreational boats. Sanctions and penalties are established in the text for illegal activity.
