This Decree creates the extraction area of "Chico Mendes" within the State of Acre which main activity is the chestnut and rubber collection. It consists of 6 articles establishing the geographical limits, tree reforestation and other requirements to be satisfied in order to perform chestnut and rubber collection under the control of the Brazilian Institution for Environment and Natural Renewable Resources - IBAMA.
