This Order regulates casein and caseinate production destined to human consumption. It consists of 7 articles and 2 annexes specifying the conditions to be met in order to perform the aforementioned activity, establishing sanitary requirements, definition and characteristics of these milk products (including labelling and packaging requirements to be satisfied) according to Decree-Law No. 159/90 of 18 May. Annexes list quality standards to be satisfied and authorized additives to be contained in this food.
