This Decree-Law establishes the technical procedures for the sanitary requirements regulating the production and trade of: bovine, swine, ovine, caprine and soliped meat within EC countries. It consists of 40 articles and 2 annexes specifying these sanitary requirements to be met in order to perform the aforementioned meat trade. It includes sanitary controls to be carried out on 'ante and post-mortem' animals.
