This Order regulates animal import from non-EC countries. It consists of 5 chapters and 4 annexes specifying the sanitary requirements to be met in order to import from non-EC countries: bovine, swine, ovine, caprine, soliped and cloven-hoofed of wild animal species. It includes certification requirements and controls to be carried out on animals for reproduction or slaughtering purposes, and fresh meat import.
