Presidential Decree No. 290 to simplify the authorizing procedures relative to the production, placing on the market and sales of phytosanitary products and related adjuvants.

The present Decree regulates the procedure to be followed when the production (Chapter II), the placing on the market (Chapter III) and the sales (Chapter V) of phytosanitary products and their adjuvants are authorized. Chapter IV regards the authorization and registration of adjuvants of phytosanitary products. Articles 19 and 20 concern storage and labelling. Chapter VI lays down inspection measures and general provisions relating to sampling and analysis. In particular, article 38 regards the use of natural products in organic agriculture.
