The following chemicals are used for rendering harmless grain – sodium pyrosulphite (state standard GOST 1168-66); potassium pyrosulphite (metabisulphite) (state standard GOST 12274-66) and calcinated technical soda (state standard GOST 10689-70). Rendering harmless with the observance of the recommended regimes guarantees complete detoxication of toxic substances of fungi in grain. In case of violation of the regime of rendering harmless it is necessary control of grain toxicity. After rendering harmless grain can not be given as fodder to pedigree cattle, high productive and gravid cattle; it can be used for feeding feeder cattle of all species and poultry without restrictions. The Regulation consists of 3 Sections. Section 1 lays down general provisions. Section 2 establishes methods of rendering harmless. Section 3 establishes methods of disinfection.
