A licence is required to breed poultry (reg. 3). Moreover, no premises shall be used for the breeding of poultry unless such premises have been licensed by the Director responsible for the veterinary service to be used as poultry-house. A breeding flock register shall be kept by the Director (reg. 4). Three schedules are attached. The first schedule lays down rules for local breeding stock. The second schedule contains the list of approved disinfectants; the third schedule contains the list of notifiable diseases.
