It shall be prohibited the importation into Malta of tunny fish without prior permission from the Director of Agriculture and Fisheries. The Director may limit or regulate the quantity of fish to be imported. For the present purposes, tunny fish means fish that has been frozen, chilled or has undergone any process of preservation. It does not include, however, fish which has been canned, salted or which has undergone any process of curing.
