Decree-Law No. 172/2004 instituting a multi-municipal system for water supply and sanitation in the “Baixo Mondego-Bairrada”area and establishing a water managing company for the Mondego River.

This Decree-Law, composed of 9 articles and one Annex, rules on the institution of a multi-municipal system for water supply and sanitation in the “Baixo Mondego-Bairrada”. It also establishes a water managing company for the Mondego River, named “Sistema Multimunicipal de Abastecimento de Água e de Saneamento do Baixo Mondego-Bairrada, S. A”. The Annex provides the constitutive act of the aforesaid company.
