Decree concerning surveillance on institutions authorized to carry out checks and issue certificates as regards agricultural and food products which are subjected to Community provisions.

The present Decree provides for the setting up, under the Ministry of Agricultural and Forestry Policies, of a national authority which shall coordinate surveillance on agricultural products and foodstuffs subjected to particular Community provisions. Furthermore, the Regions as well as the Autonomous Provinces are required to establish their own surveillance authorities within 12 months from the date of publication of this Decree (art. 2).
