Sampling methods and the methods of analysis for the official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury and 3-MCPD in foodstuffs Rules, 2005 (L.N. 98 of 2005).

The sampling for the official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury and 3-MCPD in foodstuffs shall be carried out in compliance with the methods described in the Schedule I. Schedule II describes the criteria applicable to sample preparation and methods of analyses.
