This Law is composed of 30 articles divided in three Chapters and one Annex. It regulates solid waste originating from health services. In particular, it rules on processing, storage, collection transport, treatment and disposal. Moreover, it defines control procedures and the related controlling bodies. Finally, the Law provides penalties applicable in case of infringement the provisions. The Annex provides a classification of solid waste covered by this Law.
