The present Ordinance implements the Fisheries Act of 23 November 1997. In particular, it lays down provisions relating to fishing activities, fishing authorization fees, use of fishing gear, inspection and registration duties, as well as data concerning the catch. The text consists of 44 articles divided into 10 Parts as follows: Organization (I); Fishing authorization (II); Fishing authorization fees (III); Fishing gear and methods (IV); Protective measures (V); Stock enhancement (VI); Fishing inspection (VII); Administrative proceedings (VIII); Legal protection (IX); Transitional and final provisions (X).
