The objective of this Regulation is to promote the establishment of stockbreeding enterprises meeting prescribed technical and hygienic requirements, so as to enhance production and ensure food security. Individuals and companies who wish to set up stockbreeding enterprises must apply to the highest public authority in the region concerned to obtain the location permit. Those who receive the permit must then apply, within one year, to set up the enterprise. Individuals who already own stockbreeding facilities for personal use must also apply for the operational licence. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs is authorized to inspect stockbreeding enterprises. A maximum six months remedy period will be granted for corrective actions to those that do not conform to required conditions.
