This Ministerial Decree that State Forest Service shall be composed of the officials of forest institutions in charge of conservation, protection, reproduction of forests and forest management. The main tasks of State Forest Service shall be: (a) forest fire prevention; (b) enforcement of forest sanitary regulations; (c) protection against illegal logging and suppression of other infringement of forest legislation; (d) enforcement of timber extraction rules and regulations; (e) timely identification of the outbreak of forest pests and diseases; (f) biotechnological arrangements; and (g) enforcement of fishing and hunting regulations.
