This Ministerial Decree establishes that Forest and Hunting Committee shall be the authorized institution carrying out executive and supervision functions in the sphere of forest management, hunting and management of protected areas within its sphere of competence. The main tasks of the Committee shall be: (a) state regulation of hunting resources; (b) reproduction of hunting species; and (c) conservation of biological diversity. The Committee shall carry out the following functions: (a) enforcement of the legislation on forests, fauna and protected areas; (b) validation of calculated felling area; (c) monitoring; (d) registration of hunting species (except for fishes); and (e) international cooperation.
