The present Ordinance implements the Federal Hop Act of 21 October 1996 (BGBl I p. 1530). The first three articles outline the areas in which the cultivation of hop shall be carried out. The text - consisting of 5 articles - deals with the following issues: bodies entitled to issue certificates, attestation procedures, competences and role of hop associations, and entry into force.
