The present Ordinance implements the Council Directive 78/659/EEC on the quality of fresh waters needing protection or improvement in order to support fish life. The text consists of 6 articles as follows: Purpose of the Ordinance (1); Sphere of application, definition of terms (2); Quality requirements, requirements for exploitation of waters (3); Exceptions (4); Sampling and analysis (5); Entry into force (6).
