This Ministerial Decree establishes that the Committee on Nuclear Energy shall be the authorized state institution carrying out special executive and supervision functions, and also guidance in the sphere of exploration, rational management and state administration of subsoil. The Committee shall carry out the following tasks: (a) implementation of state policy in the sphere of exploration, rational management and state administration of subsoil; (b) state monitoring of subsoil, including groundwater; (c) research; and (d) registration of mineral deposits.
