Ministerial Decree No. 183 validating the Regulation on the State Hydrometeorological Service.

This Ministerial Decree designates the State Hydrometeorological Service as the state institution responsible for hydrometeorology, charging it with: (a) developing and improving the state hydrometeorological observation system; (b) providing information on climate change, environmental pollution, natural phenomena and disasters; (c) registration of surface water; (d) collecting, analysing and processing hydrometeorological data; and (e) monitoring and forecasting atmospheric and surface water pollution.
