This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities, terms and conditions for granting state subsidies to water suppliers for the benefit of producers of agricultural commodities that consume water for irrigation purposes. Subsidies shall be paid to water suppliers for water actually supplied within certain consumption limits. The amount of the subsidies shall be calculated per cubic meter of water at a rate established annually by the Ministry of Agriculture. Water users wishing to pay subsidized water charges shall submit the following documents to the water supplier: (a) application for water use; and (b) copy of land tenancy act, land tenancy contract of a copy of land plot allotment act issued by the local administration. Water suppliers shall conclude contracts to provide water at subsidized rates by 1 June of each year.
