Fertilizers (Labelling and Sale) Act 1904.

This Act is enacted to regulate the sale and prevent the adulteration of fertilisers. It mandates that vendors provide purchasers with accurate statements detailing the nature and quantity of chemical constituents in fertilisers at the time of delivery. False or misleading statements are penalized, although compliance with an approved code of practice may offer legal protection. The Act also empowers the Minister to approve specific forms and codes of practice, and allows the Executive to make regulations to support its implementation.
