The above-mentioned «task force” has been established on 6 November 2001 in order to fight animal diseases in the Land of Lower Saxony. Its tasks are, inter alia: to coordinate animal fighting policies, to develop effective means to fight animal disease, to apply prophylactic measures, to run vocational training courses and to intervene and manage a crisis situation.
