This Regional Act sets out the legislative framework governing forest management. It lays down rules concerning the drawing up of forest management plans and the granting of subsidies aimed at the promotion of forestry and related activities, such as timber production, agro-forestry and production of renewable energy sources. The Act establishes the Regional Forestry Fund and the Regional Technical Committee on Forests and Timber. Article 36 lays down penalties.
