This Regulation sets out provisions on prepacking. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Protection and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy are responsible for its enforcement. The Regulation lays down rules on: (1) principles and criteria on prepacking and its control; (2) metrological requirements regarding net weights of prepackages; (3) reference methods for controlling net weights of prepackages; (4) criteria and methods of statistical control of net weight of prepackages; and (5) labelling.
