This Statement establishes water quality objectives for the Second Southern Supplementary Water Control Zone. Water quality objectives shall be the quality which should be achieved and maintained in order to promote the conservation and best use of those waters in the public interest, such as: aesthetic appearance of the waters which means restrictions on waste discharge and oil pollution; restrictions on the presence of bacteria; colour of the waters; pH of the water; temperature; salinity; toxins; toxic substances; etc.
