This Regulation establishes that state environmental audit shall be carried out with a view of ensuring enforcement of environmental and ecological safety requirements. State environmental audit shall consist of: (a) state audit of atmospheric air; (b) state waste management audit (except for radioactive waste); (c) state waterbodies audit; (d) state audit of subsoil exploration and management; (e) state land control; (f) stat control conservation, protection, reproduction and use of wild fauna species and natural habitats thereof; (g) state control of protected areas; (h) state ecological control of inland sea, territorial sea and continental shelf; (i) state forest control and supervision; and (j) state ecological audit of the Baikal lake. State environmental audit shall be carried out by the Federal Supervision Service in the field of Nature Management. State environmental audit shall be carried out in the form of scheduled and unscheduled inspections.
